YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT?
Mass. church to offer worship services for dogs
The Associated Press

DANVERS, Mass. -- A Massachusetts church is scheduled to launch a new monthly worship service - for dogs. Calvary Episcopal Church will offer later this month its first "Perfect Paws Pet Ministry" aimed at giving area pooches and their owners improved odds at getting canines into heaven. The Danvers church plans to hold the service on the third Sunday of every month, complete with communion for the humans and special blessings for pets. Dogs will get special treats.
Church officials said well-mannered, leashed dogs are invited. People can submit a paper prayer if their pets are sick, not good around other dogs or deceased. Prayers can also be offered for other types of pets.
Rev. Thea Keith-Lucas told The Salem News dogs will have a say during service because barking won't be banned.

BOWLING FAMILY UPDATE

Mike, Kelly, Terah and the rest of the Bowling Family are now home in Nashville. Reports say the road to recovery is going to be a long one. The Bowling Family was involved in a bus accident, July 1st,.. just outside of Charlotte, NC. Everyone was taken to a nearby hospital, with Mike being life flighted from the scene. Although there are many broken bones, bumps and bruises, everyone on the bus is expected to make a full recovery.

A spokesperson, close to the family says Mike has a fractured skull, multiple injuries to his face and will most likely require more surgeries.  Kelly has a broken vertebrae and foot. She is presently in a hospital bed and will most likely remain in a body brace for several months. Doctors say surgery for Kelly is still a possibility. Meanwhile.. Terah has an injured arm and is in pain, but overall is doing well.  Katelanne (Mike and Kelly's six-year-old daughter) has a broken collar bone. She has already had plastic surgery to repair a deep laceration on her face.

The spokesperson adds: "Everyone is grateful to be alive.  The entire group has been overwhelmed with support and prayers. They are all extremely grateful and want to personally thank you!"

BOZO CRIMINAL REPORT just after 9:00
Bozo criminal for today took the concept of "One Stop Shopping" to another level. From Kennewick, Washington, comes the story of bozo Travis Hampton who broke into a store, looked around and took inventory of what he wanted to steal. He then logged onto the store's computers and posted some of the items for sale on the internet. While there, he also logged onto his MySpace account before leaving. He left behind all the evidence the cops needed to place him under arrest.
