Night Light with Andrea - Weeknights at 7 p.m.

KWFC's Music and Company received a major face lift in March with an expanded time; new host; and a new, listener friendly concept. Andrea Jaxson joined the KWFC team with her nationally syndicated program, "Night Light™ with Andrea." The new show airs weeknights from 7 p.m. - Midnight on KWFC. We have created this page to help explain more about the show, and some of the other adjustments we have made.

Night Light with Andrea

"Night Light™ with Andrea" is designed as a different kind of night show. Every week night, Andrea engages listeners with real and relevant conversation. This encouraging and hope filled show is phone intensive as the listeners share their unique and uplifting stories. Night Light not only inspires listeners but also gives them a sense of community.

Andrea explains, "Knowing that you're not alone in this world is a powerful thing and gives you a sense of peace. The hope is that Night Light offers reaches listeners hearts and impacts their lives far beyond the airwaves."

What can I expect?

"Night Light™ with Andrea" ranges in topics from adoption to marital advice to talking about your kids to wedding day bloopers and more. This engaging and entertaining show offers listeners a chance to express themselves in a safe environment and encourages them to share their own life experience.

Each night, Andrea has a different topic, and you will be able to call in at (866) 562-1949 to give your wisdom and perspective.

Will there be music?

Yes. In fact, we are adding three extra hours of music each weeknight. So, not only will you enjoy the conversation with Andrea from 7-midnight, but you'll get the same great southern gospel music you love on KWFC.

What is happening to the current programs from 9 p.m. - Midnight?

We understand that not every programming move will be popular with 100% of our audience, and we don't take schedule changes lightly. We are adding Night Light and adjusting our programs as way to serve listeners better, providing them with music (which has been widely requested) and conversation (which was the original purpose behind Music and Company when it was developed many years ago).

Programs impacted by this move include Discover the WordPro-Life PerspectivesThru the Bible, Point of ViewFamily Talk and IRN/USA News. Unfortunately, there aren't enough hours in the day to keep every program when new ones are brought on air. We are able to keep one of those in our lineup. Thru the Bible has moved to a new time.

What is Thru the Bible's schedule change?

Thru the Bible with the late Dr. J. Vernon McGee is a very popular program on KWFC. Dr. McGee recorded a daily program that goes through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation over a five year time frame. On March 24th, Thru the Bible can be heard at its new time of 6:30 p.m., right after Adventures in Odyssey. Thru the Bible's weekend Question & Answer and Sunday Sermon programs will stay at their times in the 9 p.m. hour on Saturday and Sunday.

We believe that the earlier air time will make it easier for people to listen to Dr. McGee's teachings.

What is replacing IRN/USA News?

We are excited to announce that KWFC is now an affiliate of Salem Radio Network News, also known as SRN News. They supply us with our national news each hour, and allow us to enhance the site with their news information.

How can I continue to hear the programs that are being replaced?

The following links will take you to the websites of each program where you can hear those shows. We encourage you to bookmark those links as, eventually, this page will go away.
