High School Math Teacher

Description:
KBA is a private hybrid Christian school. Our teachers are responsible for establishing and maintaining a learning culture in the classroom which fosters strong relationships and models the love of Christ for each individual student. Teachers are expected to support our core values: relentless optimism, joyful collaboration and creative focus while developing and implementing lesson plans which engage all learning modalities: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Effective teachers employ differentiated teaching methods and use both traditional and project-based learning assessments to ensure academic progress.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field/content area OR at least five years' experience working with a variety of students in an educational setting *Ability to work with multiple students at a time *Read, understand, assess, apply and monitor students' educational needs *First-class organizational skills *Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written expression with parents, students and co-workers in a timely manner *Use tact and diplomacy in interactions *Employ a strong ethical and moral code *Be available to teach seated classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week
